José Mourinho believes Belgian youngster Thibaut Coutrois will return to Stamford Bridge after the summer. The big shot-stopper has performed exceptionally well in his last 3 seasons on loan at Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and has become one of the best goalkeepers in the world and he is still only 21-years-old, but the Belgian's father wants Courtois to stay on loan until  the 6ft 6inch player is guarenteed a stating place in the Chelsea XI and that won't be until Petr Cech either leaves the club or retires and Cech is still only 31.

Former footballer and current pundit, Robbie Savage, believes Chelsea will have to "park the bus" at the Etihad Stadium tonight against Manchester City if they are to get anything from this evenings giant clash of the two tital contenders. Mourinho will have to watch the in-form Yaya Toure, the Ivory Coast international is in superb form this season and it looks like no one can stop him at the moment, Ramires will have to keep a very close eye on the big man tonight.
Another City player who is in-form is Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo, aka The Beast. Negredo has been scoring goals left, right and centre in his debut season for the Manchester based club and with the help of either Argentinian team mate Sergio Aguero or Bosnia and Herzegovnia international Edin Dzeko by his side then they will have to be man marked very, very well by either Gary Cahill, David Luiz, John Terry or Branislav Ivanovic but Ivanovic would normally play right-back.

TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY:

Today is transfer deadline day and everyone across the globe will be anticipating the last few hours of this exciting time in the football world. Clubs will be busy, especially in the last couple of hours, remember the last transfer window? German wizard Mesut Ozil joined Arsenal FC with minutes remaining and Manchester United FC captured the big Belgian known as Marouane Fellaini from Mersyside club Everton FC. In January 2011 on transfer deadline day there were 3 major shock transfers, Spaniard Fernando Torres moved to Chelsea FC from Liverpool FC for a Premier League record-fee of £50 million, Newcastle United FC's Andy Carroll moved from St.James' park to Anfield for £35 million and probably the most controvercial signing of that transfer window was the man himself, Luis Suárez. The Urugyaun goal-machine transfered to Liverpool from Duetsch club Ajax FC for a fee of £22.8 million which now seems like a bargain buy for Liverpool as the Urugyuan has not stopped scoring since joining the club.
Do you think there will be any major signings in the last few hours of this transfer window?

CCN's Transfer News And Rumours And Club News #5

Jose Mourinho has criticised London derby rivals West Ham United of playing "19th century football" in yesterdays Premier Leagues clash at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea were on top throughout the whole match and broke a new record during this match too by attempting 38 shots on goal and only putting 9 on target along with hitting the post and cross bar on several occasions yet they still failed to score. As a result of this goal-less draw Chelsea remain in 3rd place in the Premier League and are now 3 points behind new leaders Manchester City and 2 points behind London rivals Arsenal.

Of course by now we all know Juan Mata has moved to Manchester United for a club record-fee of £37.1 million and has already made his debut against Cardiff City on Tuesday night. Mata has told reporters that he is amazed how quickly he has settled into his new club saying that his new team mates are very welcoming.

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien has joined AC Milan on a free transfer. Essien spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and has found it hard to get a regular starting place in Jose Mourinho's side this season. Essien has helped Chelsea throughout the years and his services have been greatly appreciated. We all wish Essien the best of luck at his new club.

Chelsea FC vs Manchester United FC Match Review

On the 19th of January in Stamford Bridge in London Chelsea hosted the under performing Manchester United. This match was a huge match for both clubs but, in my opinion, the 3 points were more valuable to Manchester United because if they were to claim all 3 points they would be in with a good shot of a top 4 spot and be closer to leaders Arsenal.

New Chelsea boy Nemanja Matic was on the bench for the start. The game began and within the first few minutes Chelsea were on top and they were rewarded in the 17th mionute thanks to a goal from Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o, the big Cameroon man cut inside from the right and rifled a shot which deflected off of englishman Michael Carrick. Chelsea were 2-0 up on the stroke of half-time thanks to Eto'o again. A corner was whipped in by Willian and it was headed back out only to be headed back towards Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard who flicked the ball into the path of the on-running englishman Gary Cahill and the big centre back played the ball across the goal for Eto'o to slot the ball in past Spaniard David De Gea.

The teams came out in the second half and within four minutes Chelsea wrapped the game up thanks to Eto'o yet again, the Cameroon grabbing his first Chelsea hat-trick. Willian whipped in a corner and Gary Cahill headed towards goal only for Eto'o to tap in at the back post. Later on United had a glimmer of hope but it was to little to late as englishman Phil Jones scuffed a shot across the goal and little Mexican Javier Hernandez (Chicarito) scored from on the line. To add to United's misery United captain and Serbian international Nemanja Vidic lunged in on Eden Hazard and recieved a straight red card and Brazilian right-back Rafael Da Silva was lucky to stay on the pitch after only recieving a yellow card for diving in with teo feet on Gary Cahill.

Full time score: Chelsea 3-1 Manchester United.

CCN's Transfer News And Rumours And Club News #4

As most of you know by now Chelsea FC have re-signed Benfica midfielder and Serbian international Nemanja Matic for a fee of £21 million. The 25-year old has signed a 5-and-a-half-year deal keeping him at the London club until 2019. Matic has become one of the most prolific midfielders in the world in recent years and has not failed to impress his admirers playing in a defensive role in the Benfica midfield, everybody who supports Chelsea hopes Matic will be a big influence in the heart of the Chelsea midfield. Jose Mourinho has told reporters that he hopes Manchester United's top scorers Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie play against his Chelsea side on Sunday because if the englishman and the deutchman play then Mourinho believes that if the two hit men play it will motivate his side to perform better than usual so they can out class underperforming Man United. Manchester United scotsman Darren Fletcher admits it would be a "disaster" if reigning champions Man United were to lose against Chelsea on Sunday at Stamford Bridge in London.
